After the author studied Bangkok and the cell church, he concluded that Bangkok’s rapid urbanization, religious pluralism, and slow church growth need a new strategy and that the cell church is appropriate paradigm for church planting in Bangkok because of its historical, biblical, structural, and functional elements.
The author gives a practical method for starting a cell church in Bangkok, including prayer, establishing leadership cell, transplanting, opening cell groups, and organizing a cell church. He also suggests four elements for developing a cell-church movement in Bangkok, such as networking, holding a conference, publishing cell-church literature, and including cell courses in the seminary curriculum.
